The companion app lets you see the robot’s current status and receive push notifications, pause and resume cleaning sessions, create schedules, and more.

The setup process is quick and easy and a friendly female voice walking you through the steps. Once connected to WiFi, you can use the Shark app to track each clean cycle and see a map showing the layout of your home (though it only stores maps for one floor). Its battery performance is fantastic; in ‘Max’ mode it can keep going for about an hour, and it recharges faster than the other robots we tried.
