The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you’re seeking a robot vacuum deals mop and vacuum that’s priced in the middle. It’s a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and Robot Vacuum With Mapping dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn’t utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuum With mapping vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
It’s easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can choose the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn’t lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It’s a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It’s a nice premise, however, we’re not convinced it’s enough to justify the price price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping feature is better still–its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it’s an acceptable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac’s tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it’s designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something needs attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there’s some items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

While still quite big–it’s over two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds–the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you’re not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we’ve tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.
