The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a robot vacuum and mop that’s priced in the middle. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn’t employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn’t lose suction as quickly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It’s an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It’s a nice claim, but we’re not convinced it’s enough to justify the price price.

This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you’d expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It’s also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful but they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it’s a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that’s highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements.
